One instrument was used for data collection: Teachers’ Perception of the Effectiveness of Sentence Strips Questionnaire (r=0.91). The finding revealed that teachers perceived sentence strips as an effective instructional strategy for teaching suprasegmental features of English. with a weighted mean of 3.51 against the threshold of 2.50. Based on the findings, the study concluded that sentence strips are useful instructional materials that can enhance the teaching of oral English in secondary schools. The study recommended that English language teachers should incorporate sentence strips and other interactive teaching aids in teaching suprasegmental features in order to improve students’ pronunciation and oral communication skills.
